Dale Makes Finals in the 2010 Nationals!
Dale Karolak is a 2010 US National Finalist for veteran épée. In addition to making the top 8 in épée, he also was 11th in the nation for foil in his veteran age category. The US National Fencing Championships were held in Atlanta, GA, the first two weeks in July.
Coach Dale has been fencing for 30 years, starting at Central Michigan University. He has fenced and taught in clubs in Phoenix, AZ, Ft. Wayne, IN, Cleveland, OH, Portland, OR, and, currently, in Howell, MI.

2010 US Nationals Top 8 Veteran Épée
State Games of Michigan: June 24–27, 2010
Liberty Lakes Fencing Club was proud to have 8 fencers attend the Inaugural State Games of Michigan: Randy, Leanne, Victoria, Katherine, Jake, Marc, Ben and Aaron.
We are also proud to now have 2 State Champions among us!
- Ben Skubik is the Y-10 Mixed Foil and the Y-12 Mixed Épée Champion.
- Marc Gilmore is the Y-14 Mixed Foil Champion.
