official new home of liberty lakes fencing club - Wed
9/1/2004 9:23 PM
hi everyone just wanted to pass on that we have secured
a location with the Hartland community education . we
have a nice place to meet and they have a great
dedication to their program. I feel they meet all our
needs, they don’t double the fees for non residence,
they are a year round program so no more bouncing around
at the Barnard basement in the summer they seem willing
to let us host tournaments and have been a pleasure to
work with so far. I am going to complete the scheduled
class through Howell to give us time to set up in
Hartland but we have a start date of nov 1 . we will
have to move to Mondays for the beginning class and
Wednesdays for the intermediate class and Monday and wed
for open fencing .
we will also be unveiling our brand new state of the
art with sound and motion web site. I know its been hard and very
unorganized over the last few months but I assure you
coach mike and I will be putting some new ideas into use
and hopefully get back to the fun of fencing I am
investing in a second electric scoring box as well as
some more practice stations and targets we will have
strips set up and try and get back on the map I hope to
see as many stick with us through this as I can but
those who do fall away will always be friends of liberty
lakes fc thanks - Dennis
